Head of Marketing
As Head of Marketing for The Weather Channel television network, Annie House leads the marketing efforts across distribution, ad sales and consumer outlets. She also oversees partnerships, creative and social media efforts and is responsible for developing the marketing vision and strategy for the company.
Prior to this role, House served as Vice President of Partnership Marketing where she executed marketing strategies to secure distribution with multichannel video programming distributors, worked with business development to aid in securing global carriage for our weather platform and partnered with government and nonprofit partners to build brand value and reach for the network.
Before joining The Weather Channel, House spent 13 years working in managerial positions at Discovery Communications within affiliate sales and marketing, promotions and the in-house creative division. She has worked on numerous award-winning projects recognized by industry organizations such as the ACA Beacon Awards, Promax/BDA, NAMIC and CTAM.
House earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Colorado.
