Last night at 7 p.m. ET on The Weather Channel, Stephanie Abrams and Mike Bettes welcomed Al Roker of NBC's "Today" show to "Abrams and Bettes - Beyond the Forecast." Al visited The Weather Channel Tuesday to meet employees and tour the new high definition studio at The Weather Channel. On Sunday, Landmark Communications announced an agreement to sell The Weather Channel Companies to a consortium made up of NBC Universal and the private equity firms The Blackstone Group and Bain Capital.
