The Weather Channel Premieres “Disaster in the Rockies” Thursday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. ET

One-Hour Special Covers Colorado Flooding and Aftermath

WHAT: Extreme flooding, massive mudslides and raging rivers are devastating dozens of Colorado communities, cutting them off as roads dissolve in the harsh environment, forcing evacuations and daring rescues. To date, hundreds are still unaccounted for and tens of thousands of homes have been damaged or destroyed. The Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore will host this one hour, in-depth look at the tragedy unfolding in Colorado and how this dangerous weather system has impacted residents there.
