ATLANTA (June 14, 2016) -- The Weather Channel television network was honored Saturday evening at the Southeastern Emmy Awards with the prestigious Governor’s Award. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences gives this award for outstanding achievement in television over a period of years.
