Local Now Announces Michelin as Inaugural Sponsor of the OTT Platform

Partnership Allows Michelin to Reach Audiences in a New and Unique Way

ATLANTA (April 5, 2018) --  Local Now, the streaming, hyper-local news and information service, announced today that Michelin will join as the inaugural brand partner - the first since the platform launched in 2016. Through this partnership, Michelin will be able to reach a desirable audience of Local Now viewers, nationwide, in a clutter-free environment.

Powered by The Weather Channel television network and content partners, Local Now delivers real-time, localized information about current events, weather, lifestyle, sports, business and traffic to hundreds of markets across the U.S. Content partners include the Associated Press, Reuters, Foursquare, American City Business Journals, Stadium, Cheddar, Pointslocal, SportRadar, Internet Video Archive, TrafficLand, INRIX, Flight Aware and more. Local Now is available across a portfolio of OTT, mobile, and TV platforms, including Sling TV, YouTube TV, Xumo, MobiTV, fuboTV, Plex, iOS, Android, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

Michelin has been a long-time partner of The Weather Channel (TWC) television network, and is now extending the partnership to Local Now, allowing them to reach even more viewers in the OTT space. Previously, Michelin and The Weather Channel have partnered to create custom on-air content featuring safe-driving tips to help keep the American public safe in all weather conditions.
